We came upon a SWEEEEET deal on a SWEEEEET cabin at big bear lake. So we're gonna throw a Young Adult/ Grad weekend March 12-14. It will be the best event of the year (except Third Tuesday Taize)! I promise it. Even if you don't like to snowboard...Skiing/ hiking/ tubing/ snowboarding/ games/ hanging out in the cabin and looking at the lake and mountains are all possible activities- I'm sure some people will do all of those things. I think we may even be able to convince one of our priests to join us, at least for the day!
The tentative schedule (come for all of it or some)
3/12 Friday PM arrive, party!
3/13 Saturday: Ski/ hike/ chill/ etc.
Saturday evening: party!
3/14 Sunday morning: possibly mass with our own priest, then drive back (or go hiking/ skiing again)
The price will be very cheap. Like probably on the order of $20 or so for the cabin for the whole weekend plus food which will be like $10 or so. Plus your lift ticket if you choose to ski/ ride. Or nothing more if you choose to hike (or swim!) The place is at the lake, about 3 hours (2.5 if you are fast) away.
